MISSION STATEMENT

-An Etobicoke Thunder women's basketball player is an athlete who is committed to The Thunder Way and she epitomizes our Championship Habits by playing hard, playing smart, and playing for our team.

-A Thunder athlete who plays hard is in peak physical condition. This allows her to compete with maximum effort on each possession throughout practices and games. She is disciplined, determined and dedicated to doing whatever is necessary to accomplish the goals of our team.

-A Thunder athlete who plays smart is committed to our Pillars of Success: doing her best, doing the right thing and treating others as she would like to be treated in class, on the court and in her life. She has the ability to concentrate on specific tasks, follow instructions and implement the learned skills necessary to be successful. She is not only proud of her strengths but understands her weaknesses.

-A Thunder athlete who plays for her team is selfless and willing to give up her individual goals for our team success. She knows that personal recognition will come through team excellence. She understands that our success is based on building championship habits. She believes that trust, caring and loyalty is the foundation of our Family First.
